- we spend abt 24 yrs in bed tru out our life time.
- when we are slping, we go thru 4 stages of sleeping. after the 4 stages, we r said to have gone thru a slp cycle.
- after each slp cycle, we stay aslp but our brain wakes up n starts dreaming.
- this first dream only lasts for abt 8-9 minutes.
- after which, u go back to slp and the cycle repeats.
- we dream abt five time each time we slp. each dream gets longer than the previous one.
- however, we dun alwaes rmb our dreams. tts becos, the part of our brain that stores new memories is shut down during our slp.
- ppl slp walk only when dey are not dreaming.however, ppl can slp talk when they are dreaming n when they are nt dreaming.
- usually ppl slp walk or talk when they are under much stress or when they are ill.
- drinking milk before u slp can help u slp easier
- know one knows for sure why we dream. but it is said tt somtimes dreams help us find solutions to our problems in life.
- when u 're dreaming, ur eyes move behind ur closed eylids as if u r watching events happen.
- experiments have shown tt if cold water was gently sprayed on ur face while u were dreaming, water will most likely appear in ur dream story
- women tend to have more colour dreams than men
- u can actually change n create ur own dreams.
- while u r in ur dream, if u try to focus on an obj, lk away frm it and look at it again later, u wld have realised tt the obj have actually changed.
- exercising may prevent night mares
- howver eating too much before u slp can bring abt more night mares
- besides night mares thr are night terrors.if u wake up feeing scared n confused yet u cant rmb anything abt the dream tt terrified u, den tts a night terror. dey occur during the non- dreaming period.
- animals also dream..
